Alternative Psychiatry
Alternative psychiatry is a humane approach to psychiatry, an approach in which the dignity, the freedom and uniqueness of human beings are respected.
The emphasis here is not on regulation and social adaptation for those who are sick, but rather on a comprehensive view of the whole problem.
We attempt to undertake a treatment which can be integrated as far as possible within the social and family network, instead of isolating the patients.
Love in Psychiatry
The most important instruments of therapy, which make possible the best treatment and best solution for every situation, are compassion and developing a relationship.
What determines this procedure are not fear and security measures, but rather the insight, that ultimately, the responsibility for his life rests with the patient himself, and that love and a loving environment are the only things that can really support him.
Translation into English
For our English speaking guests there will be a simultaneous translation of most of the lectures into English.

We very much hope that it will be possible to meet together in June, because, alongside the inspiring, professional exchange, it is this togetherness that is most important: Meeting like-minded people, friends, and experiencing the atmosphere that can only be created together.
For this reason, we have decided not to offer an online format for this year’s congress. If we cannot meet together in one place, we will forgo the meeting and postpone the congress until hopefully better times in the summer of 2022. Should this be necessary, all registration fees already paid will of course be refunded.
